Man do I feel silly, I wore leather sandles to my dad's house today...and it's 70 miles from the beach....
How come all these Rat Rod/Welder guys insist on wearing boots and jeans on a HOT day (notice all the people wearing shorts in the pic)...kinda stupid how far they go for a "look".
Personally, since I'm usually hot at work, I like to wear shorts and tennis shoes or sandles on the off hours....but hey to each his own!
