Default FloorPans and Rails

When I did mine last year (replaced ALL metal) , I just primed everything not worrying about the weld as I punched/drilled holes in the floor pans, sanded them to bare metal where I felt they may not weld well and then re-primed those spots and applied brushable seam sealer.... On the bottom I did something different and used SEM's truck-bed liner so it would be bullet-proof so to speak.....

I have a LOT of pictures at fquick.com, my id is ragtop396.....

If I understand it all correctly (and i'm NOT a professional), as long as it's all sealed, rust will not form. That's why I used the truck-bed liner underneath... You've got to have air (and water) entering to start rust.
