To me it depends on the finish...
Normally I'm not an exposed hardware kinda guy...except on true 3-pc wheels of course but like GM Muscle said,they add a bit of contrast if the centers of your wheel are dark.I wouldn't care for them on an all-polished wheel...too much bling for me.
I opted for the hardware on mine because they are dark and I am totally positive it was the right choice on my particular application
