GM used this same trunk latch on many different vehicles. Our latch is wider and taller than the factory one. I have never tried it on a Nova or any other car that the latch is mounted in the actual trunk lid. I would say that your trunk lid would probably have to be trimmed where the latch mounts and even then I don't know if there would be enough height in the lid to accommodate our latch. The catches are different on the Camaro also.
I would like to be able to tell you that it would fit but without having the opportunity to try one for myself I just don't know.
We do however have pedal covers to fit both of your cars. LOL
