Don is correct. With a Mini Tub tank you do not need to clip the corners as the entire sides of the tank were trimed down. "MINI TUB" tanks are were named for the original moved inboard leaf spring set ups that were so popular before 4 links came out. Mark's tank is not a mini tub narrowed tank. Marks tank is bacially a full size carb or external pump tank.

When we build a tank for a G Bar or Quadrlink, we do not narrow the entire tank, just dog ear the corners. This helps keep some capacity in the tank.
