Because if you don't have those, the center link hits the oil pan and the factory A/C compressor supposedly doesn't fit either..
and that's Tylers fault............... ?? Center link doesn't hit the pan, but I have his pan. I can see that you're upset but with me his stuff bolted right on. I wasn't trying to make a stock pan fit, and it's not his fault you tried to make it work. It's well-known with the older frames/subframes you'll be best off buying an aftermarket pan that's made to fit with the swap like ATS and Autokrafts stuff. Many try to make a stock GM pan of some configuration fit to save money, but you can't blame ATS for that; he sells a pan that works with his mounts as does Autokraft. As far as the accessory drive, same deal. You want the stock setup to fit. Well, I guess Tyler could have made the mount setup to lift the engine another inch or two up so the factory a/c compressor clears the old subframe, but then handling and hood clearance would suffer.
