I can, and do blame ATS. NOWHERE does it say his pan or accessory drive is required for proper fitment. It says bolt on. Its not. He came right out on the PT Forum that he was going to change the wording of the ad. Of course, its still the same...

It's well-known with the older frames/subframes you'll be best off buying an aftermarket pan that's made to fit with the swap like ATS and Autokrafts stuff. Many try to make a stock GM pan of some configuration fit to save money, but you can't blame ATS for that; he sells a pan that works.
