One of the few industries left on the planet where a part is ADVERTISED as bolt on, requires 10 hours (if you're lucky) of fabrication just to get it close, then the maker of the part has the b@lls to say "see, I told you it was bolt on"........
Just so we understand each other, I've built a low 10 second, 3400lb drag car before, so I understand its been this way since the beggining of time. That doesn't make it right.
A simple astrisk after the false claim with a note at the bottom of the page explaining that you need to spend another $5000 to "bolt on" ATS's mounts would be all that its necessary. Of course, Tyler knows EXACTLY what that would do to his already faultering sales....
As far as the other manufacturers go, there are two that have unique desings that were actually mocked up on a A-body (Tylers weren't and he admitted that to me) and fit fine with the stock pan.
So, the whole "if you want it to handle right" BS that ATS origiinated, by the way, doesn't fly at all. Its just a poorly designed and misrepresented item that was designed to work with 1st gen F-bodies. Tyler just decided to stick it to the A-body guys to get a few more bucks.

I don't bs, and I don't work for the auto industry. Make it personal and you can take a little break from here, that doesn't fly. Who's mounts were designed for the A body and fit with all the GM stuff? Again, I don't have his accessory drive and I can put all GM stuff on mine if I wanted to with his mounts, other than the pan.
