Clean is my middle name but having a proportioning valve under the master cylinder is no a big deal. Maybe I am lazy and don't want to have to crawl under mycar to make a brake bias change. I don't like where you have it do to header heat. The brake line should be on the outside of the frame. I have mine bent around the bulkhead, inside the parking brake nuts, down between the firwewall and inner fender, ...etc.
