Another Aussie here, I got my 1st Camaro at 19, a 1971 SS 396 with RS option, so I can relate to your passion
Now I'm just stuck with just my second one.
I bought this in 1988, a 68 RS convertible project finally on it's way to being pro toured.
I didn't see your car on Ebay so don't know anything about it. Is it left or right hand drive? If it is a real big block car with some proof, I'd be very reluctant to modify it (too much). Even though I no longer have the 71 (sold to a friend) it could be made "stock" very easily.
