What Mark (Bigtyme1) is trying to say is with the old stand by 335 / 30 / 18 tire which is less then 26" overall diameter, the none centering is not as noticable or problematic. However, when you stuff a nearly 27" tall 345 / 30 / 19 (Like Payback / EmptyNest), it becomes more obvious and more problematic. However not super noticable as Vegas never noticed until I asked him to measure.
However, the same problem exist on many leaf springs cars. We have been dealing with this in the drag race world for years. You can fit a 28" tire on these cars if you move the rear back a half inch. It is worse on some cars then others.
But yes, another reason we built the adjustability into our kit. Makes it nice to center the wheel.
Vegas, we just did Danny's 68, moved the rear back a 1/2", driveshaft is fine.
