so yesterday the car just stops dead, turns out the Coil failed, now this is a brand new MSD coil that cost me $50, it cant have 5 hours of run time on it, what do you think may have happened could it be just a freak part or could I have exposed it to to much heat, its mounted behind the carb on the intake.

does anyone have a sugestion for maybe a better model that would stand up to the heat, or should i mount it under the dash instead?
