It gives it different looking finish. I just do the headers in high temp black because after doing the texture on headers we found that it doesn't like the high temp. that close to the motor. I use a flex joint on all our exhausts and from there back the text holds up fine. I have been doing it for about 3 years now and we have it down pat. The sky is the limit on the colors we can do to. Thanks Curt!!!! I really appreciate the info! I am thinking about changing the plans for my truck and doing black on black and black colored exhaust would be a sweet touch. Does the black exhaust show dust easy? Also does it scratch easy? So do i get to see some build pics of this truck? Sounds SICK!!!! Thanks for the complements on my build.
