there are alot of different subframes or k-frames out on the market. like most people I build my cars to drive not race, the cost of xv just wasnt in the budget I build my cars to have fun and sell so the cost does come into the whole aspect of things and if I have to choose between total race performance or drivability I choose drivablility how many times are you going to race your car? maybe at a goodguys autocross? around here theres not many places to autocross so my cars are built for looks and definatly some performance but not for full on race cars. I highly doubt that what the normal driver does with these cars would cause them to calapse unless there a total rust bucket that wasnt fixed right. You could also build a front hoop out of roll cage tube, come off of the firewall and run it just behind the rad. support, that would be pretty easy and I think theres plenty of room for it. telly
