I finally figured out why the images won't fly, and this now becomes an FYI for others running the latest available softwares. Remember when you could never use certain characters in file names like "/" or "*" or "&" ? The latest softwares will now allow you to run these characters in file names, yet the rest of the world hasn't quite caught up yet = the VBB bulletin board softwares do not like the "&" in the URL's I had listed. Changing the filenames from C6R&D1 to C6RND1 = success!
