Default Oct Friday Art Show...

I will go ahead and start this one off again.

I knew from the start I wanted to do a delivery. My problem was coming up with something not done before. I figured a car you don't see too much are the old Henry Js, and when you do, they are always gassers. So I had a good start to try to street rod out a Henry J. So I do I make a delivery? Then it hit me, wack the top off and replace it with a PT Cruiser top & tailgate (may as well go for the turbo version so you can get the wing too!). The fold flat rear seating would make it perfect for delivering those 36"x48" prints to my customers. The next thing was what to do with that funny shaped opening in the hood for the grill? I guess Brian's 3-D rendering must have left a mark on the backside of my brain from staring at it so long, because the idea popped, a potvin supercharger! From there it was just a matter of details to work out. I added Mercedes headlights, and if you can believe it, the front & rear bumpers along with the tail lights are from a 55 Chevy. I added a "widow's peak" to the front windshield to pay homage to the original design, and carried out on the rear with the exhaust outlets. I removed the lower body section that protrudes out and made a new one that is flush. I changed the name since it is supposed to be my shop truck, and that was what my grandmother called me when I was growing up. I hope you like it. It was a fun project. I will be accepting donations to get this project started.

Sorry I didn't add a poll. I just saw that email. plus I don't know how to set that up here. Sounds like a good idea, but I just need the practice and additions to my portfolio.
