with questions yes start new threads in apropriate section but like you mentioned first SEARCH to see if you can find the answer like that.
as far as the front subframe goes, i would clean up the frame(ie:grind off all the factory splatter) before you send it off to get coated. and if your looking for the best performance for the least $$$ do uppers,AFX spindles,del-alum bushing in your factory lowers,stiffer springs and good shocks you can either go with normal sized coils and cut them for the desired height or get a coil-over type spring and spring adjuster. you got the idea right with the lowers some companys claim thiers do help with suspension geometry but its no where near as signifigant as uppers. they may be stronger, lighter and look better though.
