Okay I will say it. Yes, make the trade.

But before anyone can really answer - what are your plans for the car/motor and usage? If it's a weekend car and won't be taken on long trips and more of a street bruiser with low gears and the TH400, sure.

But if you want daily drivability, decent mileage, lower maintenane, and a lot less power (as they are configured now) keep the LS1.

Heck, the LS1 is already getting to be a dated engine! What are we up to these days, like LS50 already?!
