Just today I started finally ordering some parts for my suspension build.
I spent half of my suspension budget and bought half my parts, and my phone rings... It's Dad, and he's wondering if I'd be interested in a '70 L78 396 375hp engine (complete/running w/accessories) for $750... uh, yeah, I am!
I'm going tonight to check it out
It's definitely an L78 block, but the guy doesn't know squat about it (he called the dealership and gave them the deck-stamping to see if it was a 454
)
Gotta go spend the rest of my suspension budget on an engine I don't need
