i have done all my own enginework in the past untill a diesel (2.4 toyota i rebuilt) blew up on me and i started wondering of i shouldnt have a pro do the 427 for my impala.... so i did and when i pulled the distributor to prime the engine prior to startup (i had installed EVERYTHING at this point) the distributor drive rod was not installed.... the oilpump was there... but the drive was absent....
im back to doing my own enginework again!
