Wow this is an old post
I am running 19's in the back of mine right now and the height is 26.5 with a 285/35/19 tire. Pulled a set of 255/40/18 off of a 68 camaro just the other day and that tire/wheel was taller than my set up. I like running my car low but I ran out of clearance from the axle tube and frame rail before I had problems in the wheel well.
Now my wife has an M3 convet with 19's and 30 profile tires....talk about no sidewall. Looks cool on her car, but I can't believe she has not bent a rim yet.
