if you want to install them on your own car, id say no (unless you HAVE to have that date code on your tripower 69 corvette) .... its either alot of angle milling to unshroud valves and subseqent porting.. and then it will still suck on the street compared to almost and aftermarket BBC head... a pair of AFRīs or Profilers.. even RHS heads will outperfoem them by 80-100 Hp and be more streetable
Thanks very much for the info. I was curious how well they actually performed. I have a set of stock iron 350hp 396 heads on the car right now and was looking at an upgrade.
