Yeah I think I can still move to an overall darker/non-shiny theme, which really has been my plan/goal all along. That doesn't mean there can't be ANY shine or chrome though IMO. I am not building a show car winner here.
Yeah I won't be blacking out anything under the hood. I like the way that is already coming together. Had considered black IC plumbing as we discussed but I think I will keep the industrial theme going there.
I like brushed and I like black. I think at a minimum I will brush the hoops if not doing them in black. One or the other there. After seeing EVS Motors/Ted's updated version of his J2Z 67, I think the chrome trim and blacked theme can be done and work well together. I really like his latest pics he posted and it has helped me see some similarities in what I was already trying to do as well.
