Ok, my main concern is this. Get on youtube and listen to a 5.0 rev and then come down from that rev. It takes a while. Every Pontiac I've owned and seen and other high hp motors rev quickly and return to idle VERY quickly. So, all that to say, the 5.0 would be easier to drive at lower speeds by far. I am a little worried that besides the cam, it would be terrible to drive a slightly cammed Pontiac around in first and second due to the internal friction of the engine. Give it a little gas, it's a little jerky but ok. Let off in the slightest amount and it may be like slamming on the brakes? Just curious. I won't have 4.56 gears or anything. Maybe stay with my 3.73's.
