Id say go for the internship. Bust your ass now and you'll be able to enjoy it more later. Ill be 38 when I retire from my first career, the Air Force, I will have a paycheck, medical, dental benefits, and a few other perks. I joined the Air Force right after highschool. Unfortunatly my job's, cardiopulmonarytechnician, school is around 11.5 months long. And let me tell you military training sucks even in the airforce I crammed what takes a civilian 2-3 years into 11.5 months. I hope this makes a little sence because it 1140pm I'm beat and I've been driving all day
