The hinges really are a nice piece. The struts are very strong, so they actually will open the trunk lid all the way on their own when you turn the key!
Plus, the trunk lid feels way more steady....
Most importantly, they FIT well. Trunk alignment was a minimal effort- of course Mike's car was not easy to install them on because his trunk is finished off so well with trim & audio! Nothing's ever as easy as we'd like, right?
The extra hinge set I have will likely go on a customer's '69 Camaro Conv't or on my '68 vert. I want to see how the install goes on a droptop. Of course they both have fancy trunks with stereos too
