Default ABS plastic modeling/bonding?

O.K. a question for my old parts hauler, a 56 Chevrolet panel truck.

Because of the closed panel sides, save driving is more than a chance of luck with the small side mirrors.
So i came up with the next thing, find some mirrors that i could use and fit the style of the truck(i know my taste is famous )

Found some mirrors full elect. about 20 wires in each of them and fitted them to my truck.

Now i need to remodel the base to follow the shape of the doors.
There is a gap from 1 '' to 1/8 to fill.
What kind of stuff to use, like to bond it to the org. mirror feet (the abs plastic) so the finnished product can be fitted to the door with a thin rubber gasket between the door and mirror

Hope some one can help.
