Just a little update....Things have been going pretty well on the car and we're in the re-assembly stage however have run into a few obstacles along the way that tend to so things down.
The air conditioning system chosen for the car is one of the hold ups as both "Classic Air" and "Vintage air" do not have interfaces with "factory air system controller" (just their own controls and I want factory controls/sliders in my dash)....So we're working on a possible solution with "Classic Air's" rep up here in Toronto and hopefully things will work out soon. I'm also as a result of this back stopping the situation with the idea of at least putting power windows in the build (all be it that they didn't come in the car in 1970)...
I'm looking at the "Electric Life" product for a windows, door locks, and trunk solution and was wondering if any board members have had any experience with their product???? are they good,,, Bad,,, and how is the quality of their product from an end users stand point????
The motor in the build has also been changed out to a 455 with some interesting internals and Edelbrock aluminum heads,,,it should be a super reliable pump gas street motor that makes something north of 500hp...Nothing to fancy, just a lot of fun in front of the new TKO 600.
