That is somewhere in the ballpark of 7K usd. I am spending a lot on the rest of the car, so 3-4k does´nt make that much of a difference in the end

Definitely would be a neat tranny. I visited Quaife in England a few years back, and my impression was very good of this tranny, although I couldn't put my eyes on one since they are made in limited small batch production. For a race car, the quick change headset is great.
I don't think it's the ticket for a car that does much street duty *for most people*. The clunking during gear shifts would get old after a while since the transmission is not a sychromesh design. Still very cool though.
