I may be wrong... I am not a Chevelle specialist by any means, but I believe the 64-66 has a coil spring pad that allows for the coil spring to "bolt in place" with a plate that sandwiches the bottom coil with the coil pad. Where as 68-72 the spring simply sits on top of the pad. I know 67 is a transition year. I will try to dig up my receipt on this thing to determine the actual part number that I ordered.

I used that link to show what it was but I just searched by year/make/model.

I went round and round when I ordered it, and I believe the two styles of spring pads were the only difference.

I will check my paperwork tomorrow at work.
