It all depends on the car and the build. The Tri5's are getting as much or more money resto-modded than a frame off restoration. Corvette's all depend on the significance of the car and what they came with from the factory to get big $$$. I can tell you that we have had some serious offers on our 1960 Corvette that is well above and beyond any restored C1 Vette could get.

I can see your argument on losing the soul of a Vette, but I would argue that we are bolstering that soul. Have you ever driven a stock C1 - THEY ARE TERRIBLE TO DRIVE! These were built as a sports car and we (and the people building them) are enhancing their ability of what they were designed to do. Restorations have their place, but this is a site dedicated to modifying and making your car better.
