LOL. A local show here this weekend awarded 2 trophies to 2 cars which just happened to belong to one of the primary event sponsors. In fact, that particular person usually gets at least one trophy at any given show he puts a car in when he also sponsors.

I was only there to hang out with friends and didn't care but it ruffled a lot of feathers because they were not the nicest cars in their respective categories.

I don't go to shows because I like the show "scene"-- friends and I go just to hang out with each other (and/or significant others), get lunch or dinner, look at a few other cars, then take off and go cruise around. Going to shows for the sake of only showing isn't something I much care for. I'd rather be driving.
