I'm kind of surprised by your reaction. This is a guaranteed way for someone to get their car in a magazine. Seems like snapping a couple pictures for this is not a lot of work, and really is a small thing to ask.
If it's not worth your time, then it's not for you. We're not going to pay you to have your car in the magazine; it doesn't work that way.
