Thanks tone...I would love to have fuel injection. One of these days.
Ed...it's just 1/4 plate with rounded corners cut out of a water jet machine. I even had him cut the bolt holes with the water jet. Cost me under $30. The rear end housing is 1/8 plate. I'm not sure if it will effect the handling or have any other adverse effects yet. I do know that the stock setup will not work well in a racing or high load enviroment so you many as well change now. I really think it's axle end play that causes the issue now that I'm up to my eyes in brake pad knock back. It' really the easiest way to do it without any bind or a different length shock. I noticed the new G Link has the shocks mounted more vertical so that did give me the idea. I tried a set of mustand g bar lower shock mounts and the angle is off. I didn't snap any pictures before I mounted them. It moves the shock mount in 2". You could fabricate a new bracket that didn't move it in quiet as much but you would need to use a double sheer mount with a sleeve. I really don't think I'll experience any changes in ride or handling.
