Todd, I know that Currie offers Wilwood specific retainers as seen
here, although I'm not sure how much lip they have. Could be worth a call. Otherwise, a shim would do it but without it being located by a plate with holes for the retainer bolts, locating it during assembly could be somewhat difficult. It's thin enough that getting it to stay in place could be tough.
