The hood is fiber glass & we have many hours in it to make it look as good as it does. I believe the co. in which the hood comes from is Unlimited fiber glass. We had to modify the back side for clearances, & then the edges to meet up with the fenders better. I would recommend getting a steel hood depending on the amount of clearance you need.
