That's good to hear.
It's better to pay someone to do the job for you, and have it completed, than it is to let it languish. Nothing wrong w/ other people doing work for you while you earn money for your project.
I totally get the heat/work/stuff coming up aspect- that's why I wrote my other comment. It happened to me when I was in my late teens- I was taking autobody at college and lost my job. I decided to finish my project (hard decision w/ no money). I sold that project to fund my Trans Am rebuild. Fortunately, I soon had another job and was able to finish the T/A (in similar circumstances- early summer and 100*+ days!!). Things happen, then you have to figure out how to correct them. It sounds like you have things on track!
