When I went to Korea for a year I bought a bad to zip mine up in that required dessicant crystal canisters .
http://www.carbag.com/products/products.html I filled mine up and put gas treatment in the tank. I also disconnected the battery but I left my tires on and had no problems. After I returned and unzipped the bag, I was just how I left it nice and clean and fired right up. Such a small amount to pay for piece of mind. Hope this helps and good luck.
