The back of the wheel is drilled for a normal Chevy bolt pattern. Then, this pin drive adapter is bolted to the wheel using special lugs. Those lugs fit inside the holes drilled in the back of the wheel and keep it from spinning. The center nut tightens the wheel against the brake to keep everything in place.
