It's entirely possible to mount it on a tab inside the trunk. This won't be NHRA legal & you might want to check with any racing bodies you plan to run in, but a switch/solenoid in the trunk is an easy deal. Just make sure it's properly rated for your electrical load requirements.

Yea, i was mainly concerned about NHRA and SCCA requirements. I think I'm gonna mount it on the tail light.
