I can definitely thank Lakewood for at least my right foot..and probably my left too. The DFX is actually back in it now, and seems to be holding up pretty well. We pulled it, thinking it was cooked, but figured out it had some preload on the throwout bearing. We tossed it back in after the second one let go just to see if it would hold up and it's going like a champ so far. It's going to get a lot more testing before we haul off to Indiana, though.
The one that blew up was from a local shop we were recommended to. It was a stock style Borg & Beck pressure plate, and lasted 2 and a half passes, launched it at about 6k in 2nd gear

Got our money back on it, but it ruined the Fidanza aluminum flywheel in the process. Live and learn..
