I love ABS brakes!!! All of our GM track stuff has ABS brakes. This is a big science project. You can buy an off the shelf Bosch Motorsports system for about $10,000. I don't have $10K so I'm working on putting togther a system out of other OE stuff. The wheel speed sensors on the front are easy with the DSE clip. It has C-5 hubs with built in wheel speed sensors. I had Currier build me a Ford 9 inch with Mustang wheel speed sensors built into the rear axles. So after digging around I found out the Ford rear wheel speed sendor are a Bosch. So I hope the sensor output will work with my module. We have bench tested them and I think so. I had special tone wheel made to match the pulses per rev of a C-5 Vett to match the front wheel speed sensors. We are also working on making the ABS unit work as a stand alone. No stability or low mu performance (ice).

I was going to install ABS on JA but with the carbon brakes it is even harder to sort out. The carbon brakes double there output from ambiant to 400 degrees C. I'm OK with trying this on my car because I have had a lot of experience tuning ABS systems and having them fail at speed. Things happen very fast when you have lost your brake system on the track. I have had a number of "off track" experiences developing ABS and stabilty systems. If I can get this system to work it will be fun and I've learned a lot in the process. The system will need to be balanced in a "failed" mode when I first start sorting it out.
