If I have to use any flex line -- I run the PTFE... It cuts the "stink" from the fumes of the modern gas...

Not sure how the rest of you work with this stuff but here's what I'm doing/using.

It's a bit "harder" to use with the ferrule - you really can't cut it with a cut off wheel - the heat melts the PTFE and then gives you a rough edge. I use a saw blade that goes into a circular saw (and fixture) that has no teeth - it's more like a round razor blade - gives a nice clean edge to not only the SS braid but leaves a perfect edge on the PTFE as well. They also sell a nice little hand tool that places the ferrule on which also helps.

The thing about this hose - you can use it for fuel line - A/C lines - etc...
