yep, i agree never was real crazy with the big hood from day one, my bride did not like it either--should have listened to her.
When i had the 540 built i wanted to make sure i kept every possible horse, 760 hp and 755 tq with the old application was fun.
Dropping down to a 1000 cfm Holley and smaller intake has dropped my Horse power but still seems to have stump pulling tq and now i can see the cones
