So I was parallel parking today and managed to rip the plastic ring off two of the three metal supports on my Rick's First Gen Repro Rosewood Camaro Steering wheel. It is one of these:
Needless to say I don't feel comfortable with this steering wheel any more. Any amount of flex or pulling and it now pulls off the metal supports. I drove home very carefully. I'm installing power steering from Lee Engineering this week so that should help, but this thing is down right unsafe.
What steering wheels are you guys running? Looks like I am in the market.
I have Recaro Speed S seats but an otherwise stock interior so I'd like to keep it simple.
