We tried many different off the shelf headers. and decided to work with Stainless works to design the best fitting header , they are designed to eliminate the 3rd joint in the steering shaft, which dramatically improves the steering feel. you can use off the shelf headers and the 3 joint shaft but you may still have to cut one of the tubes and reweld in a piece, so make sure you dont buy coated ones.

this is the reason we built the headers in the first place, i think if you do the math on the labour to install the 3 joint shaft, buy and modify the header and then coat them, our stainless headers headers are not out of line and you get way better ground clearance as the tubes don't hang below the frame.
