The appraiser was very impressed with the car, but did relay everything to the buyer that did not look right. The appraiser did not like the fiberglass hood fitment (all fiberglass hood bow), 3 gauges did not work (fuel gauges not hooked up because of fuel cell, car used to have a powerglide in car so trans temp gauge did not work because car has 5 speed, and speedo needs to have 2 wires run to make work), and one little spot on top of the car which was not preped right ($200.00 fix and you can hardly see it). This buyer is still interested but wants to see the finally appraisal on the car and he is going to make his final decision. This guy wants to make this car super nice. He is wanting to install a Detroit Speed subframe, undercoat the bottom, smooth the firewall, put a polished stainless exhaust on the car, put in new leather seats, install a stainless fuel tank, and so on. The guy currently has a 2009 Lambo roadster that he paid $440,000.00 for. He says he has very nice toys.
I am going to send out a couple of second chance offers to people that did bid on the car and hope something works out. But I am not going to give this car away. You guys know just as well as me what it takes to make a car of this caliber.

if it is a $200 fix can't you fix it? Hook the wires up, etc etc. $64,000 for a car is a lot of dough to have nickle and dime stuff not finished. Good luck with the sale. I love the color with the wheels
