Hi all. figured I would pop in and intro myself. My name is chris. I live in Eureka, Ca. I have been a mechanic pretty much most of my life and have loved cars as far back as I can remember. I am a member over on corvette forum.com as well but I sold the corvette. Currently I am working on a 72 el camino, it was my driver in my early 20's it now has a 454 with a 5 speed in it. the body was off and I powdercoated the frame and suspension. I started out with just "lets just freshen it up" and this is where I am. the suspension is pretty much stock except 2" lowering spring. and has 18" foose nitrous rims. the sheet metal is all orig except the tail gate. all of the trim is new, and I am in the middle of redoing the interior. this is the most involved I have ever been into a car and learned alot. then I found this site
some of your cars are amazing..... the el camino is in the paint shop. I have done most of this car myself and seeing some of the cars you all have done is now getting me motivated to start on my 70 chevelle. well enough rambling. thanks for looking.
