Unless it's a body shop or resto shop doing the stripping don't let them prime it. You do not know what kind of primer they are going to use. If you have a shop in mind ask them to do it or ask them what kind of primer they use. When I do paint and body from metal up I put down epoxy frist than you can let it sit protected form moisture and such. Than when you are ready to do body work you don't have to strip off the primer, you can do filler work over the epoxy. Make sure to follow the tech sheet for proper prep before using the epoxy and before doing your filler work over the epoxy. I use Sikkens Autosurffacer EP, but I work for the company so I get a good deal.
