It's not purple, really, I swear. If you weren't color blind you'd be able to tell it was more of a blueish red
or maybe a reddish blue. You can call it whatever you want, and claim that you were right since day one, when you said, "paint it purple like a 'Cuda," but it's just a compromise I wanted red, you wanted blue, throw 'em together its a win win.
The color is actually even called Amethyst RED, (for everyone in internet land, who hasn't seen it, it is the left half of the sample hood, if you're facing the hood from the front).
